Where is the fuel filter on a 1991 Toyota pickup?

Default Where is the fuel filter on a 1991 Toyota pickup?
the truck has a 22re engine. does anyone know where the fuel filter is?

should be on the passenger side, underneath, tucked inside the frame rail right behind the front wheel (terrible location!)

most likely running along the frame between the gas tank and the engine. if you look under the car near the driver side door, it should be tucked away against the frame. if you cant find it just by looking, find the gas tank and follow the hose coming out of it. the fuel filter will be about 3 or 4 feet down that hose. at least thats how it is on my ranger, but i imagine toyota wouldn't do anything much different.

Be careful when you do these. Make sure you have a really good 14mm flare nut wrench and a regular open ended 19mm. These nuts can easily be stripped. Also when done start the vehicle and check for leaks.
