Default Is it possible to upgrade 2007 Camry to higher power?
I have a 2007 Camry SE, 2.4 litre 4 cylinder engine. What are some of the things I could do to reach 250+ hp on this car? Are there other engines that would be compatible? (I had to buy 2.4 litre 4 cyl because it was the only one with manual transmission)

Thats not going to happen without a power adder or some SERIOUS motor work. Why do you want a 240hp Camry??? pointless.































Spend the money that you would spend on modding that car on another vehicle if you want power. These motors WERE NOT DESIGNED for performance, not one single bit. Trust me.

on that car i wouldnt do anything more than giving it a better airfilter, like a k&n. but that wont give you nearly as much as you would like to gain.

a 158 HP to a 250HP































why don't you just get a GR-FE V6 engine instead































or































you can just throw in a turbo, intake, exhaust, headers, ECU.....

well, i suggest you stop by tunemytoyota.com and make a profile there, we can help you out in alot more detail then ever possible here on yahoo answers































and yes, it is possible, we have had a member with a 300hp 2006 camry, i have riden in it before.































anyways, turbo kit would be the easiest for it. there is alot of work involved in that though so i still suggest checking out the above site.































you will need the full turbo kit, fuel system and either a really good piggyback or a standalone management system
