Default Toyota Land cruiser Suspension?
Hi, I have a toyota landcruiser 1998 RV Wagon.































And i am looking at putting some new rims on. But i need to find out wat kind of suspension i have,















as i have been told that there is 2 types. One being IFS and the other being Rigid axle.































Please help.

drive into any dealer and have them look,,,takes 5 seconds to see;;rigid is one solid axel wheel to wheel...the ifs is each wheel can go up/down without affecting the other....id be shocked if its rigid...































a call to dealer with vin # would also get the answer

it is ifs ... that is because i have worked on a 2000 model and that car had a ifs so i am guessing it is ifs.

We have a 1998 100 series landcruiser...1998 was the first year of the v8 and the first year for independent suspension..Their were a limited few that got the v8 and coil suspension..It has independent suspension with torsion bars.This design makes for a great ride,yet is limited as far as lift kits availbility...www.arbusa sells Old man Emu suspension..They are probably the only company out there that offers after market suspension...
