Default 1990 toyota 22re (4 cyl) 4x4 pickup deluxe recalls?
i am having trouble out of getting brakes on it . we have bleed them and no air in the lines and still no breaks . can u tell me what could be going on . and what kind of recalls are on this vehicle ?

No recalls on brakes for these trucks...You may have a bad pa-portioning valve or brake booster.This valve i,m talking about is under the vacum booster with two line s directly from the master cylinder...Also check out the little white one way vacum seal...follow vacum hose from your booster across the firewall..It,ll be mounted on the firewall and it,s white ..These also go out...

brake booster... ppfftt. you would still get pressure even if the booser was bad... on the other hand prop valve could do this. what was your bleed seq? did you bleed the load prop valve in the back? if you dont you will have bad brakes. its above the read end between the l n r wheels. also dont take of the lines off to the mc but just pull the mc off the booster and c if its wet behind the push rod. if it is then the mc is bad and leaking bypassing the seals in the mc. hope that helps
