what is the max towing for my 1989 toyota pickup reg cab 4x4 4cyl

It depends on the shape of your frame, if you live in a state where you don't have to worry about salt damaging your frame and everything is in good order you can tow 2000lbs, including trailer. However if you have frame problems like most of those trucks do it's not a good idea to tow much of anything, it will shorten the life of your truck.
