Default Which should I get...Supra or Celica GTS?
I'm between a 1991 Supra nonturbo...no targa top, exterior awesome shape was just painted, wheels and everything. Inside is a bit rough, broken dash parts, broken door handles, etc. Possibly needs new rear. Probably around 5 grand to buy it has 88,000 miles. I'm also looking at a 2000 Celica GTS, 68,000 miles, blue 6spd manual, loaded, totally stock and not whooped by some dumb kid which is hard to find. Some scratches, paint work (done well), leaky tail light, interior much nicer than Supra though. Transmission in awesome shape, also hard to come by in a GTS. Dealer wants 7800...Does anyone have both, or have owned either? I have had a Corolla XRS in the past with the same transmission as the GTS and loved how it drove but it scares me a little that there was a recall with the VVTL-i in 2000 with a bolt issue and I'm not sure if it was fixed by the previous owner and obviously too late for me to do under warranty. Which should I buy?















obviously if I'm on a TOYOTA forum, then I'm interested in buying a TOYOTA vehicle

depends if you want front-wheel drive or rear-wheel drive

If you're going for a daily driver as much as I hate to suggest it I'd go with the Celica, but if it's more of a fun car / project and you know how to work on cars then the Supra all the way.































Bought an 89 turbo a year ago and it's been one of my favorite cars to drive. There's also a huge aftermarket for them.

the supra is a pos, dont care what car it is, when you are looking for a car to drive i didnt say fix up or tinker with on the weekend with buddys but to drive you dont want one with the interior all tore to peices and the rear end out.































celica, is the only common sense answer.
