Horsepower gains toyota celica gt?

I have a 2000 celica gt. i am switching over to full synthetic oil, also i am adding an injen short ram, headers, catback exhaust, also a fidanza flywheel 9 lb. what will my gains to the wheels be.

you will gain no more than 14 hp at the wheels. This vehicle did not come with the top of the line engine, only 180 HP, so expect no more than 185 HP . You would be better off putting the money toward a new muscle car.

Correction- the GT-S has 180 hp while the GT has 140 hp. Anyway, to the OP, with the stuff you're talking about doing, you're looking at a gain of less than 10 horsepower at the wheels- more like 6-7 hp if you're lucky. You're talking about a 1.8 liter engine so torque is still on the low side. If you want a large boost, your best bet is to either boost yours (turbo- or supercharge) or sell yours and buy a GT-S. Torque isn't that much better with the GT-S but many of the upgrades on that engine give it 40 extra hp from the factory to begin with. In order for you to achieve that with the GT's engine, It will cost you a lot more than selling yours and buying the GT-S. However, if you want major gains later, your current engine will make a better setup IMO.

If you want horsepower it isn't cheap on any platform. You would probably be better off upgrading your camshafts, valves and springs. It'd cost about the same and you'll not only see a larger gain in HP but you will slightly extend your rpm band and see more HP across the board.
