we changed my water pump and now my timing is off.?

so we changed my water pump the other day. I have a 93 camry LE 4 Cil. the timing was not off before we changed the water pump. besides the water pump we did not touch any of the other gears as far as we can tell. i talked to a guy today and he said we must have touched it just enough to throw the timing off. all we did was take the timing belt off, change the pump and put the new belt on. so anyways can you guys shed any light on the situation? is there any other possible reason that my timing is all of a sudden off? like i said it was on before we took the car apart and now after we put it together it is off.

Remove upper timing cover,turn crank pulley to line up TDC mark on lower cover,hole on camshaft spocket should line up to groove behind the gear,hard to see because the motor is offset,if out of time,just loose tensioner pulley a little,push it down to loose timing belt,then tight the bolt to hold it when reset the timing mark.Turn engine clockwise to remove slack to confirm the marks when tighten the tensioner.
