problem is so rediculouse people use pool noodle to hold the thing together. it is not for a joke, its actually what the people do. it doesnt fix the problem, just prevents the box from scratching up the cab while driving down the freeway.

frame rot is already on well maintained 2007 trucks. toyota owners are complaining as they are not yet covered. in 3 years time it will occur on the 2010 aswell. no changes have been made. same poor material.

manual warns to remove tailgate before loading anything in truck bed. also says not to drive with tailgate down. the cables supporting its own weight causes it to buckle.
and do not forgett their transmission failures.
