I'm currently using probably the same model of tires you are. a 65,000 mile warranty means the tire is warranted for 65,000 miles. So if the tire fails from a manufacturer defect, including insufficient tread lift left before that, they replace it. The limited part comes in when you talk about how they replace it. In some cases, they give you a percentage of what you paid to put towards a new tire (you have 50,000 miles on a set and 1 tire is completely bald...they won't give you 1 brand new tire, they'll give you say 50% of a new tire, you pay the difference). More than likely your alignment is way off if you went through that tire that fast. I've got about 12,000 miles on my set and they barely show any signs of wear (1995 honda accord).
