my prius toyota is locked -what do i do to unlock it?

Default my prius toyota is locked -what do i do to unlock it?
my dim light was not working and the mechanic did something and next day itgot locked

well if the doors are locked you can break the window or you can call AAA or a towing service to see if they can unlock your car but if your car just wont start then your wheel might be locked so turn your wheel back and forth while trying to start the car or your mecanic just ruin your wiring system

Use the key.































Perhaps you've never tried it and only used the keyless fob...but you DO have a key. If it's a newer model Prius the key is part of the fob; slide it out and use it.

It depends on why it's locked.































1. If you have Smart Start/Smart Entry, the mechanic probably disabled SS/SE with the button by the to the right of the steering column on the lower dashboard. In this case, you can press the unlock button on the fob to unlock. Once inside, press the button to enable.































2. If the 12V battery is dead, then slide the mechanical key out of the fob to unlock the door.
