Default Toyota avalon car alarm help Please!!!!!?
MY 1995 toyota avalon has a factory alarm without keyless entry. It went off and i tried to shut it off by unloking the door and starting the car. That was a mistake, now the car is froze up and wont start i was wondering if any one knows how to disable the alarm so the car will start. Ive disconnected the battery and hooked it bak up then the alarm just goes off again. i cant figure this out please help.

That doesn't sound like a factory alarm, Try unhooking the battery and turning the ignition on, then rehook up the battery.















Most aftermarket alarms will be shut into Valet mode by doing that.















Or use the key and unlock from the pass side door.

Sounds like your alarm system disabled the Ignition Switch. If it really is factory, bring it back to the dealer. It should have a lifetime warranty on the alarm. Sounds to me that something is wrong with it.
