Default anyone know if this engine would fit?
wondering if an 05 corolla xrs 1.8l 170hp engine could be swapped into the 2003 corolla s 1.8 130hp spot. i know it did change from 03 to 05 but that jump of 40 hp is sounding good? or maybe a cellica gt-s engine

Dimension-wise yes. Getting the electronics all hooked up correctly is going to be the hard part. You are going to need the whole engine harness (read a butt load of wires). If this is your first time that you are transplanting an engine, expect your car to not be running again for 6 months.
