for the year yes that is extreme. My 95 truck only has a 105k and i drive alot..... my moms 2001 suv only has 85k.
Figure most people drive between 11k-15k annual so at like 12k a year it should only be at 72k miles. At 15k annually it should still be 90k and 15k is alot of driving.
If the car was well maintained and such then its not really an issue as most new motors with tighter tolerances are good to 250k+.
Also keep in mind around 100-120k the timing belt and water pump will need replaced which is about $1000 give or take.
On overage every car should get 10k miles a year so a 2004 Corolla should have a round 60k more or less so 103K is almost twice, however, most Corollas can easy get 200k and be quiet reliable with that in mind 103k is not a lot, especially if the car was well taken care of. Anything over 200k is over the hill the can only go down.
No,that car isn't even broken in yet.My 2001 only had 145,000 on it when i totalled it,and it was still going strong before the accident,it would have gone to 200K+ miles.I bought a 2007 with 42,000 miles.
