I have a 2002 Toyota Sienna, which stops accelerating when car heats up?
My 2002 Toyota Sienna will stop accelerating after been driven for about one hour. This usually happens when the weather is hot, usually in the afternoon. Can anyone help with this.
I assume the car does not overheat because the the temperature gauge reads normal. However, when this happens and the bonnet is opened the engine will usually be very hot.
As temporary solution, I usually will switch off the engine and allow it to cool for about thirty minutes, then it will start accelerating normally. It runs on A/C.
