Is a starter motor easy to install on a 96 Toyota Tacoma? Does it require special tools? Also, where might be the best place to purchase a starter motor for this truck?

Nope it is not easy to get to or install. Nothing is easy to repair on the Toyota Tacoma and you'll need a bank loan to pay for the parts. You are soon to find out both things I said are true.































But the Chevy starters are easy to get to and reasonable priced..........

It is not as hard as the other guy mention. You can locate the starter at your local auto part. You'll just have to call around for price. I would go with the "lifetime warranty" doesn't matter if it is new or rebuilt. Rebuilt is cheaper, thou..
