Default I have a 2002 Toyota Matrix, manual 5 speed. Tranny needs rebuild?
Which other Toyotas use the same transmission if I were to look for a used one with low miles? Thanks. Can't afford a brand newone these days.

Wow, I can't believe such a new vehicle already needs a new tranny. Hopefully you have racked up the miles.

i love how some still think 2002 is new,and how any car new or old can need a tranny ,if the car has 1000 km and the driver drives like a moron he can need a tranny,,anyways to ans you question ,a coroola trany can work but remember these cars have ecus that may not work with every tranny,make shure you have your vin number ready when you order it,,
