Default Toyota Corolla.......?
Are they any good and are they dependable. Also how many miles is it good for before you have to overhaul them?

its a gamble. some people have gotten engine sludge as early as 30k to about 70k. not reliable cars. toyota's are disposable, and owners of them are buying new ones very frequently.































japanese cars have a much lower life expectancy than american cars.































you can get it to last, but they are very high maintenance vehicles. they require much more maintenance than american vehicles.

The Corolla is a super reliable car. The 1998 to 2002 ones can burn oil due to weak rings. The 2003 to 2007 ones don't have the best computers. That being said, I have seen many Corollas go hundreds of thousands of miles without having any trouble at all. I drive one!

Google this.... 2010 Toyota Corolla Edmund's consumer reviews ...then click the Edmund's link to read what consumers say. Poor driving, poor steering, cheap plastic, no power, lemons, bad brakes, bad gas peddles. Read them.-- Many dissatisfied customers there. All actual owners of Corollas. It ain't a pretty picture. But you asked so you should be told the truth. Good luck
