Painting a car costs between 3000$-6000$. You can try looking for an underground shop where you'll have to pay in cash and they could be willing to do it for about 1500$-2000$. However, if you choose the underground shop you also need to understand there is no warranty what so ever and once you give them the cash and they give you the keys there's no going back, so if in 2 months the paint starts coming off ... well too bad. That's why you need to look for one through someone who already went there and referenced you. If you want a good job, go to a real shop even if it'd be really expensive.
