What can i do in increase the HP of m toyota corolla?

I have a 2007 Toyota corolla CE. I have already put on a K&N Cold air intake and magnaflow catback exaust. What else can be done to increase the HP?

Neither of those will make a noticeable increase in your power. Really nothing you bolt onto your car will.

Different header.

Replace the cat with a test pipe but it wouldn't pass emissions.

The car is limited so that's the only thing I can think of.

well - probably about anything you do from this point will make it technically illegal to pass a smog test - if you are in a strict state like CA or NY. I know in CA the cops can "mess with you" especially if you piss them off - by writing you a smog ticket. they can do it if by the exhaust pipe they even have a reasonable SUSPICION you have modified the car. You will have to go to a special smog station and pay $100 or more for the test. IF you don't pass they will probably give you a time period to fix the car for retest and if you don't pass then - they will pull your plate and registration. They can be very shitty about it. Just a warning take it for what it is worth.

You are not going to gain significant HP gains by modding an N/A engine, especially with a 4 banger in a base model Corolla. If you want HP:

1. Rebuild your engine for a turbo setup (or swap it with a turbo ready engine).

2. Sell it and buy a car that already has the power (or is eaiser to mod to get that power).
