Will my '96 Toyota Camry with 196k make it on a 677mi trip?
I'll be driving from Columbia, SC to New Orleans, LA in late July. My parents seem to think that it's an unwise decision, but my car drives great and has been well maintained for the duration of its usage. I bought it used, but it was checked out and everything looked great. I did have to get the water pump and timing belt replaced. Also, at the last oil change, I was told that I needed a new air filter. When the car gets to about a quarter tank it bucks a little bit (only when I first drive it, it goes away around 30 minutes after), but it's never gave me a real problem.
