Ignition/starter bypass on Toyota Van?

Default Ignition/starter bypass on Toyota Van?
I've tried everything known to man to solve an intermittent starting problem on my Toyota Van Wagon (new starter, new ground from battery, new cable from battery to starter) and it still wont start consistently. I've been told that a bypass switch allowing me to get a full battery current to my starter would solve the issue. How do I go about installing one and what do I buy?

What exactly happens when it wont start> Does it just click? Sometimes the flyweel teeth get worn down so far to where the gear from the starter will not engage in some places of the flywheel
