You need to ask people in the Car Audio section about this.
Buy a set of Component speakers for the front (Components separate the tweeter from the midrange speaker for better sound imaging) and an amp to power them.
Buying rear speakers are a waste of money for two reasons:
1. Rear speakers screw up your soundstage (midrange should be in front or next to you, not behind).
2. A good set of front Components properly amped will be more than enough to fill the car with high quality sound that everyone can hear.
Speakers are not designed to provide bass (which is why subs exist), so if you want some bass from the speakers, look for ones that have really low frequency numbers. The lowest most subs do is in the 18-27 frequency range, so you'll probably want speakers that can do low to mid 30s for their lowest frequency.
