How do you remove the driver side and passenger side door panels in a 1999 Toyota 4Runner?

Default How do you remove the driver side and passenger side door panels in a 1999 Toyota 4Runner?
I am trying to install new speakers in the front of my 99' 4Runner. How do a take off the door panels?

you just pop the clips off from underneath the door panels carefully with a big flat head screwdriver or the actual tool they sell for that... then the bottom half should pop up and have enough room to put new speakers in... you can try taking off the whole panel but its really hard for the 4runner in my experience... remove screw by the handle... get behind the panel once you have the clips off and unscrew the screws holding it together then take off a clip by upper corner of panel and then menuever it around the handle...
