different cars really but I'd go for the Rav4. It's a Toyota, lasts long, strong engine, minimal maintenance. VW's have issues. Just read the reviews on msn autos or edmunds.

Volkswagens come in our shop over and over with major problems. Go with Toyota.

Joshua is wrong. He works for toyota so his views are worth zero. Volkswagen is a far better vehicle, and consumer reports agree...this is a toyota room filled with mindless toyota bots who think toyota walks on water, when actually they drive on fire from the broken accelerators.
