Can I turbo my 2007 Toyota Corolla with 6 psi without engine rebuild?

I want to Turbo my 2007 Toyota Corolla but not put so much boost on it that i have to rebuild the engine. But I don't want to be mister speed racer either. So If you have any ideas on a turbo idea for maybe $1,000 or less, throw me some options!! Thanks!

turbo is never that cheap unless your laying pipe or something. why would you want to do this to a Corolla? nothing but bad will come out of it. even if you want to get to 3 psi youll have to invet in other aspects of the car. give up my friend

Turbo setups are rarely cheap, let alone less than $1,000. It ain't just about the engine internals, you know. Your tranny will also have to hold up to a turbo setup. You will need to setup fuel management. Even suspension components & tires might need attention.

If you're gonna turbo a car, then get a car that can actually handle a turbo without much trouble.

Yes you could easily.

You wouldn't see much of a benefit though.

You could probably piece together a Turbo Kit for under $3K. But I doubt for under a K unless you are using used parts and junkyard stuff.

I think in the end you would be disappointed with the end result. But hey it's your car do what you want with it
