Say what now? The shop replaced the cat without testing the rear oxygen sensor...EPIC FAIL!
There should be 2 o2 sensors on a corolla. The front one is crucial to determining the a/f ratio in the car...the rear one only tells the ecm/pcm that the catalytic converter is working. Meaning...if the rear code is triggering (p0420 in most obd2 cars) then it's faulty...and the mechanics doing this work are completely incompetent.
