you'll see a squarish black box with a big plastic tube coming out the side, the box should be towards the front of your engine compartment. the top should just snap right off or might have plastic wing-nuts holding the top in. once the top comes off, you'll see the air filter. all you have to do is pull it out, it's very easy.

Take it to any parts store. They will be able to come outside and look at it for you and take it off no problem.
