What would happen if I disconnected my oxy sensors on my lt4 ?

Default What would happen if I disconnected my oxy sensors on my lt4 ?
Would my car run ? Will it go rich or lean? I have a rich condition every time I start it and after 5 to 10 minutes the car runs good. Also getting poor gas mileage. The car has a well maintained 175k on it. I am the 2nd owner and I have had the car for 2 years.

Are you talking about the LT4 GM performance engine?































Anytime you take off the Oxygen Sensors on a Car it's going to run funny because now the computer is trying to compensate for a variable that isn't there.































I believe it will run really rich trying to compensate for the lack of the Oxygen Sensor.































It's not a good idea either way. It's made to work with them, not without them. If you are having a problem get the Cods of the computer and see what that tells you.
