Default Follow up to the Toyota low tire light problem.we have been back to the dealer about
once a month for 2 year? There is no nail, was in a tank of water. There is no hi pressure as we check all 4 tires. Agree that sensor could be bad, but also could be the rim or just a lemon of a tire.

The simple truth is that ANYTHING in a Toyota that has a sensor, or computer component, is likely to fail at some point. this is what caused the gas and brake, and transmission and steering problems. The defects have unfortunately seemed to trickle down into all the other Toyota components as well. If it has not been fixed in 2 years it is not likely to get fixed. Just hope that no other serious problems like electronic accelerator failure, or brakes fail. I got rid of my Toyota, it became literally riddled with repeated electronic failures. Hondas are now faltering too with accelerator failures. You just never know what you are getting in a foreign car anymore. Good luck.

don't forget to check the spare. there's a sensor there also.
