It is different depending on trims. Generally, the GTS is sportier than the GT. For example, the 4th generation had an engine for fuel economy (GT) and an aggressive one (GTS). The GT4 is the 4 wheel drive version, which is only available in the older generations and for 6th generation, in Japan. Those are the rally ones. In the US, it is later ST (economy) and GT (sport).































I would get the GT4 if you get a chance. It's rare, 4 wheel drive, and used in rally. GTS is the next highest trim, followed by GT.

The GT is focused more on fuel economy, the GTS is more Performance based, and the GT four is only sold in Japan by that name. It's known as the Celica "all-trac" in the states. The All-trac is a four wheel drive turbo version and quite rare.
