detroit locker in front as well as rear? 95 toyota?

Default detroit locker in front as well as rear? 95 toyota?
im getting a detroit locker for the rear of my 95 toyota pickup (that also have 7'' of lift) and i would like one for the front as well but this is a on road truck as well as off.















for normal driving on road i will just unlocked the hubs so my front wont lock when im turning















but i live in maine and in the winters sometimes you drive in 4wd on the road so my question is















what if im driving 45 mph in snowy slippery conditions... in 4wd and i start to spin a little and my front and rear lockers engage so all 4 of my tires have power going to them... how will my truck handle at this point? will it be better than if i had no lockers at all or worse and will i just totally lose control?































any help or ideas or anything would be great! thanks!

locker in the back makes sense. The front would be best left open. you would have a hard time turning on slippery roads with all 4 locked together.

If it is just a regular slippery road then open diffs are fine..Maybe a limited slip in the rear...Full on lockers on snowy roads is a mistake..Unless it,s very deep...Full on lockers will just make the slipping and sliding worse.If you need a front locker go with an air auctuated arb...That way you can turn it on and off as needed..www.arbusa.com
