is a 1992 toyota camry 2.2 liter engine non interference?
my car suddenly stopped on me today and the tow truck guy said it sounded like the timing belt and i need to know whether its a non intereference or an intereference engine so i know whether i have to spend a couple hundred bucks or buy a new car.
You are in luck. It is absolutely certainly Non-interference.
The difference between a Toyota and a Honda (and most others) is if you break a timing belt in a Toyota, you replace the belt. If you break a belt in a Honda, you replace the engine.
