tire size and lift kit on a 4runner?

Default tire size and lift kit on a 4runner?
I'm purchasing a 2000 4runner, and without a doubt lifting it. The thing is i don't want to have to get into any fender trimming or gear changing (at this point). I want 35 12.50's (tire size) on it, and wondering if a can do that with a lift kit i recently found online. Its on toyteclifts.com, and its a 3.5" lift. Will this clear the tires? Will i be ok with the gears? Will i need to add any body lift? etc.































Please give me your opinion.

Stay away from Body Lifts.































3.5 will not be enough to clear 35's without fender trimming. Unless you don't plan on wheeling it. Then you might get away with it and some minor rubbing.































33's with ease for sure. Which is really the highest you want to go without regearing.































If you want 35's you can get away without regearing but you'll be much happier with your performance if you do. Especially if you plan on wheeling it.































Is the Toytec lift just a spacer lift? or is it a full on suspension lift?
