Default when do i need to make the decision to get a lift on my toyota tacoma?
i have a 2008 toyota tacoma with the standard 16 inch rims on it. if i went to 18 inch rims, do i have to get a lift?















ok well so how many inches can i typically go up on the tire size before they start rubbing?

no you do not need to get a lift, simply get the same size tire in a 18" rim configuration. If you want to run a larger tire get a larger fender flare to open up the wheel well

Nope. The rim size has nothing to do with the outside diameter of the tire. You can put 22s on your Tacoma with no issues unless you get bigger tires. You can get a leveling kit for your truck for only $100 and fit 33x12.50 tires on it.

You dont need a lift only recalibrate your speedometer. And maybe program you truck for those tires.
