Default Rear lights problem 87' Toyota Camry?
I own an 87' Camry and my rear lights won't turn on when I turn on my head lights. Brake lights work, the bulb isn't bad on either sides. I'm going to assume its a connection problem. But what else, how else, what can I do, to check or whatever can help me solve the problem? Thanks.

We have the same problem with a 2000 camry. It is usually the wiring harness that is connected to the trunk lid. Ours had a broken wire caused by normal opening and closing of the trunk lid. We had to have the wiring assembly replaced.

have you ever repaired the cables ? or check the terminal, it could be short or coz the terminal dirty by oil or mud ...















simple way is check the route of cable specialy the terminal,
