Default where is fuel filter toyota corolla?
Hi I have a toyota corolla 1.4 vvti 2001 and need to find out where the fuel filter is please?















It has a misfire, which I cannot find out what is causing it.















Changed coil packs, checked airflow meter, any other suggestions please?















Or if you are breaking one,even better I will buy the parts!

I just changed the filter on my wife's Camry, and it was a pain in the #$% to get to.































Maybe yours is in the same place. Left (driver) side fender well panel, below some OTHER parts and apparatus. You have to remove a bunch of garbage to even SEE the darn thing.































Get a bright light or you'll NEVER find it.































Maybe it is better to try and get to it from underneath the car.































I'm too old to crawl under cars any more, so anything I can't reach from the top gets fixed by a pro.

If you cant find a fuel filter by following the fuel pipes and hoses - that's because the filter is inside the tank.















i have a 2000 Corolla service manual and i cant find any fuel filter other than one in the tank as part of the pump pick up unit. you get access to that pump unit by removing the rear seat bottom and an access plate under the seat. if you tackle this job don't smoke or make any sparks. might be better to trust it to a dealer.
