Default Toyota Camry Automatic Transmission problems in the wet?
Hi, I have an old, but perfect toyota camry, but when driving in the wet, sometimes the transmission seems to fail... the engine runs fine, I can select auto gears, but it just doesn't move... After it dries for a bit, it is fine again... Is there some sort of electrical element that can fuse out temporarily in the wet?

This is a really weird one. I have never heard of such a thing. It would help to know what year and model your Camry is. Will the car go in reverse? Reverse involves no electrical connections. If it will not back up either it is a mechanical problem. Have you checked the fluid level? I have seen cars not go when it is cooler because the lower the temperature is the smaller the volume of the fluid. There is no electrical connection that is supposed to be temporary.
