Default Toyota Truck-1994, standard drive won't stay running?
I've already trouble shoot-ed the battery, ignition, relay, all the common issues I can think of- it starts, sputters, and DIES! Anyone got any ideas as to what the issue is? I'm stumped.















1st of all, it's not my truck. Its a friends that my DH who happens to be a Diesel Technician and Shop Foreman for a Major Diesel Truck Manufacture was working on as a favor. Now he's frustrated after all his knowledge of gas engine driven trouble shooting,: not due to a relay issue- checked. Not the battery, not the linkage,- remember its a Stick driven or Standard, for you techs. Not the Spark Plugs or any common remedy he can think of-















Solved! The Motor Mount caused a short! Thanks all for your help.

Your question does not contain enough info to properly diagnose here - a best guess would be something in the fuel system; perhaps an issue with the engine idle being improperly set
