all guages lite up,when i turn the key to the on position it just makes a clicking noise

If your connections are clean and tight, you need a new battery. If you need convincing, get a jump start, if the car starts its the battery, not the solenoid.

The clicking noise is the starter soleoid, trying to turn the starter motor. Check the connections are tight on the solenoid and starter motor. The solenoid is mounted on the starter motor.

If this is the Denso OSGR starter it needs new solenoid contacts. See: http://www.google.com/search?safe=of...enoid+contacts They are much cheaper than a whole new or reman starter.

take the battery cables off and clean all the terminals then put back on and tighten them up , proceed to start it if this don't work, try all other ground wires, if that makes no difference, like the guy above said get a jump if that works it is your battery, they only last 3or 4 yrs now anyway,
