Default is getting a toyota a good idea or bad?
I heard about the recalls and the bad accelerator was bad on them and things, is buying toyota still good?

Yes, some models were not even effected by the recall. If you wait for the 2011 models, all of the bugs will be worked out.

It's a good idea, my family has owned numerous toyota's and we have never had a problem, we have mainly stuck to camry's and avalon's and never had any trouble with either model. If anything you'll be sitting at the dealership for repairs with American made cars......































lets see who has the most problems and compare it to toyota who sells the most in America

I guess it depends on what Toyota vehicles you are considering. The older cars are more reliable than the newer ones.

Of course its a good idea. If you're worried about the recalls, then simply don't buy the affected recall models. People can b*tch and preach about Toyota frame rust and oil sludge and what not all they want (not like Toyota is the only automaker with issues like these anyway). It does not stop Toyota owners from getting 300k on their well-maintained Toyotas or erase over 60 years of reliability.
