Landcruiser 100 and 80 series VIN number is on a plate under the bonnet on the drivers side or right side of the vehicle and sometimes on the passenger side if duel batteries are fitted and is also stamped on the chassis, its a bit tricky to see if someone has undersealed the truck but its on the chassis underneath the car. get on your knees by the drivers door more towards the front wheel look under the truck towards the passenger side, you should see your chassis members running from front to back, as the chassis curves up towards the front wheel before under the wheel arch the chassis number should be stamped there on the side aspect of the chassis member.
Look on the floor next to your drivers seat. Also, look on the back wall of the hood compartment, behind the engine, closest to the cab
