Since it would be all custom to convert it to RWD you could build it to fit the LS1 engine and trans too. Of course you would be building a new car that fits into a Corolla body. It would cost you more to do this than buying a car with an LS1 and the Corolla combined.

im going to assume youre talking about the ls1 that comes in gmc vehicles. and if you want to go that route, its possible, but anythings possible, not worth it, you would need all new electronics because your cars computer couldnt take it, a lot of fabrication work, a lot of custom parts, youre looking at around 20 grand, thats if you do it yourself.

probably isn't isn't worth all of the work you would have to perform in order to make this work. You would basically have to redesign the majority of the car except for the body and maybe the brakes and suspension. just buy a camaro or a firebird!

It would be possible, but it would be expensive, difficult and a waste of time. You'll just have a great engine wrapped in turd's clothing. It would make a good sleeper, but I'd rather put that engine into something more appealing, like a Chevy S10.

Dude. No. Even if it is possible, which it is (but it'd be a b*tch to install) you don't do that. Ever. Corolla? You might as well put a Chevy 572 into a Smart FourTwo.
