Last year's Power and Associates comprehensive customer satisfaction survey, covering many countries, ranked Toyota near the bottom of the list in customer service satisfaction.
And now, with Toyota sales dropping drastically, and with Toyota facing billions of dollars in payouts in class action lawsuits, they are desperate to lock in customers.
If they try to coerce you, the best course to protect your rights and interests is by asking a lawyer for an opinion. It may cost you a little now, but will save you many times more than that if you get locked into a long-term deal with Toyota.
