Hi mate - can you please give us some more information?
What happens when you turn the key, is it a diesel or petrol?
Does nothing at all happen when you turn the key? Does the engine try to kick over and then nothing happens? Does the engine just make a click sound after the battery is turned on?
Try and clutch start it if you can, (Simple as, find a hill, pull the handbrake on, put it in second gear, put your foot on the clutch and take the handbrake off. When the car is at a decent speed (5-10km/h) take your foot off the clutch and turn the key)
and if the engine still doesn't start then the problem is an engine problem or a more serious problem. If the engine does tick over and start then the problem is a starter motor problem or a battery is half-charged problem.
