Default My 2009 Toyota Corolla is making hissing sounds while I'm driving?
While I'm driving, especially over something uneven, my car makes hissing sounds, it kind of sounds like the wind might be hitting something and making the sounds? But idk what it is? Do you know what it could be? It didn't do this when I got it a little over a year ago and now it's suddenly doing it.

Toyota has cut back on all quality things like sound proofing and other things particularly in the Corolla. I have a new Ford Focus --every bit as small as a Corolla. It's interior is almost silent while on the highway. Now that you have it a year or two you can expect it to give more problems. Consider getting rid of it. A Ford Focus will thrill you compared to the plasticky Corolla. And its mileage is 40 MGM on the highway..far greater than the cheap Corolla. Good luck.

That has never happened to me. From what you are telling me, it sounds like you are hearing wind noise on the windshield, which is normal in any economy car. It could also be that some point in the car is not fully insulated. However, I would recommend taking it to your local Toyota dealership for professional help. They would be more than glad to take it for a drive. Make sure to come along with them so they know what to look for. You have a 3 year warranty on the car if anything goes wrong. Its a good car and just a minor problem.
