Starting the car without keys? Just a button?

Default Starting the car without keys? Just a button?
In most cars, you stick the keys in turn, and it starts.































But, some other cars, you just have to push a button and the car starts..































what if you forget to lock your doors?































Does that mean, anyone can go in your car, and drive away?!

the key fob needs to be near by for it to start.

In a push-button start vehicle, the key has to be read by the computer. If it's not close, the car won't start. If you forget to lock up, the key is necessary for start-up. If it's not sensed, the car won't start.

In a car that has push button start, if you forget to lock the doors and the car does not detect the presence of the key fob near or inside the car, it will lock the doors by itself. Cars that have push button start will not start if the car does not detect the key fob inside the car. So even if a car jacker manages to get inside, they will not be able to drive the car away without the key fob.

yeah the push button start only works if the keys are near it is called a Smart Key.
