Default What do i have to do to run 38's or 40's on my 87 Toyota Pickup 4X4?
i have a 1987 Toyota pickup 4X4 5-speed. sittin on 33's. with a 3inch body lift. But i want to run 38's or 40's, What kind of things i need to do. i know i would need gears, lift. what else please help me out

You are gonna need to do alot of things...First of a ring and pinon change....At least 5,38 gears...You don,t have alot of power so the gears will make you roll...You,ll also need to do a front axle swap..Change the transfer case gears or add another box...Check out www.marlincrawler.com for all the info you will need...I have built three trucks,all of them to run at least 37 inch tires...It,s really not that hard just time consuming...You are looking at about 4 or 5 grand for the swap...Including tires and wheels...
