I'd start with trying to charge the battery and see what the charger tells you about the battery, see if the voltage goes up after charging it awhile.A really strong battery or fairly new battery can give up to 12.9 volts or so and really when fully charged any good battery should give at least 12.5 volts with no real draw on it.
You might want to have one of the parts stores perform a free test on the battery, alternator, starter either now or once you've tried to charge it.I'd be also suggesting you check , clean the battery posts, starter posts, alternator connections, engine block ground, all grounds, plus check the main thickest positive and negative wires for internal or external corrosion and replace the wires as needed.
Hope that helps and best of luck.By the way one way I use to tell if a battery I suspect is no good is check to see if its sides are bulging outwards and warped , that is one clear sign of replacement time.I highly recommend that if you do buy a new battery you purchase something with a good 750 cold cranking amps at least and I do prefer and recommend Interstate batteries.
