toyota heater core bypass?

Default toyota heater core bypass?
i have a 94 toyota camry, and i few days ago i realized that my heater core has gone bad. i have decided i want to bypass it until i can afford to replace it. however i cant afford to take it somewhere to have it bypassed either, so i would like to take on the project myself as i don't know anyone savvy enough to help me. i have been all over the internet trying to find helpful information, and although i find excellent step by step guides on how to complete such a task for other cars (mostly american made ones) its not the same set up for a camry.































any help with this is appreciated, even if someone knows where i could take it to have it done really cheap in the metro detroit area that would be great.

we need some more info, because my vehicle has an inlet from the heater core to the radiator, and an outlet from the radiator to the heater core, to bypass it, just make a loop from the inlet to the outlet, if yours has a line coming out of the thermostate housing, you should be able to go directly to the inlet in the radiator, a by pass means you just take the heater core out of circulation, by going from the outlet to the inlet, unless you have a extra heater core somewhere, it should not be that hard to do.

Look on the firewall,under the hood,about the middle,where the heater core is located under the dashboard,there are two coolant hoses mounted through.Go to any auto parts store and ask for a heater hose connector or coupling,to joint 2 hoses together,some are 5/8" to 3/4" or straight 5/8" or 3/4".Just remove the hoses from the heater core on the firewall and joint both ends together,route the hose away from exhaust pipe.Easy to do than it seems to be.
